Hilton Garden Inn Watertown

The staff was great (all of them - front desk, restaurant, housekeeping), the location was amazing, and the restaurant breakfast was really good and convenient. I'm also a pretty light sleeper so I was worried about having a room so close to the elevators, but I didn't hear any noise from the hallway at all. Parking was also great. I don't normally stay at the Hilton chain of hotels, but a colleague recommended this hotel for staying in Watertown and I'm glad that I took her advice.

The staff was very accommodating, the room very clean and I liked the ear plugs provided in room. It's not that its a very loud hotel, but I am a light sleeper and I even use them at home. It was a considerate touch. We were there for a funeral and had a large family group on hand and the bartenders in the evening were put to the test and performed well under pressure.

I booked a room with a king sized bed. After checking in, we went to our room and it had two beds instead. I phoned the desk and they corrected the issue and upgraded the room due to the inconvenience. Although it was a smoking vs. non-smoking room, it contained a private hot tub which was very relaxing. We went to dinner at the Grill and had a lovely meal. I asked about phoning later for champagne (it was our 40th wedding anniversary) and the waitress came back with a complimentary bottle on ice and two glasses. It doesn't get any better than that!! Thank you for a memorable evening.

Excellent check-in and the staff were especially helpful in introducing places to eat in the area. Breakfast was very good, much better than the breakfasts provided by other hotel chains. Loved and unsed extensively the fitness center and pool.

My husband and I went on a long weekend to visit family who reside in Watertown, Cape Vincent, and Syracuse. The hotel was absolutely beautiful, clean and the staff was excellent. The restaurant and bar was a bonus especially after our 6 hour drive from New Jersey. An additional bonus was the fire pit and gazebo outside. We will absolutely stay at this hotel every time we visit Watertown.
